As found of Macochee, Jeff brings together cinematic storytelling and nonprofit strategy to help mission-driven organizations tell stories that strengthen culture, advance mission, and engage community. The work begins by understanding an organization from the inside—its people, mission, culture, community, goals, objectives, strengths, resources, and aspirations—and developing an invitational narrative that connects people to its vision. The resulting films are designed to become lasting organizational assets, extending into fundraising, communications, leadership, events, programs, and community engagement.

His creative work spans filmmaking, acting, writing, and music. He has written and produced feature films, including End of the Dial, and has developed a body of original music as a songwriter and recording artist. His short story Leaving Home received the Edward Nichols Award at Penn State, his performance in A Carpenter’s Prayer earned an ICVM Crown Award nomination for Best Actor, and his album Broadmoor was named Album of the Year by Folk and Roots in Australia.

 

Jeff spent more than a decade with The First Twenty, contributing to content, program development, advancement, marketing, and strategic partnerships. His work supported FEMA, the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Forest Service wellness programs, and he co-authored Lift Your Lamp: Tactical Strategies to Build Resilience and Create Community.
